Goals Galore Saturday 25th April

It’s an all English affair on Saturday with our both teams to score treble featuring games from the Premier League and Championship.

Burnley vs. Leicester

Burnley have plenty of spirit and Danny Ings, Leicester have rediscovered the art of scoring. The Clarets have failed to score in their last two home games but prior to that had scored in four of five games. Ings is their top scorer with 9 goals and on average Sean Dyche’s side manage .82 goals a game at home with 1.18 conceded. However given the enormity of the game and its potential for survival, Dyche could go more attack minded. That’s the approach the Foxes have taken and it has worked so far with the club looking for a fourth successive win. The club have managed 11 goals in four games. These two drew 2-2 in October making it four games in seven that both teams have scored.

QPR vs. West Ham

Three of the last four meetings has seen both teams score with West Ham winning 2-1 on their last visit to Loftus Road in 2012. The Hammers have faded away in recent weeks after a stunning opening half of the season and have only scored in two of their last 8 away games, significantly impacting their 1.19 average for the season. The goals against column shows 1.62 a game, something that OPR, and in particular Charlie Austin, could take advantage of. The Hoops have 21 goals in front of their fans, a season average of 1.24 a game and with 1.35 conceded tension is set to run high on Saturday.

Rotherham vs. Norwich

Both sides need a win but for different reasons. Rotherham are fighting relegation and lie just four points off third from bottom Millwall while the Canaries are chasing promotion. Rotherham has scored in each of their last 8 home games while Norwich have been equally prolific on the road, also managing to score in 8 consecutive games. Five of the last seven meetings has seen both teams scores.
